Describe position responsibilities/duties, not tasks, listing the most important first. Use a separate statement for each responsibility. Co-ordination with Supplier/Buyer/Shipping lines and supervision co for container shipment execution.
Handling queries and resolving them for both buyer and suppliers.
Issuance of Contract notices (Nominations, sending doc instructions, shipment advices) for compliance to contract terms.
Preparing Shipment documents.
Liase with various departments like accounting, trading, operations and logistics for carrying out trade execution activities smoothly and efficiently.
Handling documentation with Suppliers/Buyers/Bank under CAD/LC terms and conditions and it’s timely submission.
Timely execution and regular follow-ups with all related counter parties.
Various system updates & reportings.
Scruitinising and processing commodity / service Invoices for payment
Settle shortage claims.
Maintaining accurate Shipment records.
Payment followup with the buyer and ensure all outstandings against the shipment settled and closed.
Willing to work in Shifts.
Should be willing to travel / relocate if there is any business requirement.
Have a valid passport.
- MBA degree/diploma holder preferabaly in International Business course.
- Proficency in MS Office
Minium 3-4 years of relevant experience in handling export / import of container/bulk shipment or similar trade line will be an advantage
Skills (applied knowledge and technical skills directly related to this position)
Exposure of handling containerized shipments or experience in commodities trade.
Clarity and knowledge of Incoterms and export/import documentation.
Sound knowledge of L/C, UCP600 & ISBP terms and conditions.
Thorough knowledge of EXIM Policy and related incentive schemes.
Experience in Pre & Post shipping documents with knowledge of presentation of documents to bank under L/C terms and conditions.
Good communication skills in english both written and verbal is must,other langauge are an advantage.
Fair exposure with overseas customers with direct business communication.
Innovative and challenging attitude.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
