is a strategic position with responsibility for meeting marketing goals through
the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the business
in collaboration with sales team across the country. The role demands responsibility
for the formulation of strategic business plans, support to Business head to
maintain P&L, budget development, and possessing the ability to
continuously evaluate trends and adjust strategy / tactics to compensate and
take advantage of shifts in the marketplace. Is responsible for branding across
all products of the business division and ensuring that the required product
mix is achieved by the business. The ideal candidate for this position would be
a person from Medical Device Industry with a 5+ Years sales & Marketing
mixed experience with a degree from good B school in Marketing as Major.
Responsible for strategizing, developing and
implementing marketing plans &
campaigns, designing communication strategy and managing
budgets around the same.
Provides leadership and directs campaigns and
programs to achieve the desired product/ model mix for the business. Coordinate,
channelize and focus the actions of all personnel, local partners and
business associates towards realizing targeted objectives.
Responsible for guiding new product
launches and maintaining market shares and significantly
increasing annual sales.
Acts as key lynchpin between Covidien
India and Asia Regional Office in Singapore. Responsible for providing
feedback to the SBU regarding Product Designs, customer feedback etc.
Responsible for branding of Covidien as an
organization including “top of the mind” recall for Covidien products by
the physicians for his/ her business vertical.
Responsible for Inventory Management for the
business across all product segments.
Responsible for making the Annual Operating Plan
Responsible for the Market Intelligence
related to his/her business vertical. This includes data analysis of
market data for trends on product usage across regions/ customers,
competitor market shares etc and suggest strategy changes required to
counter changes suggested by the data.
Analyze current growth patterns,
identify target products, benchmark against competition, estimate product segment
demand, review orders placed, coordinate with Logistics team to ensure
prompt availability of products, review post marketing surveillance, get
feedback from customers in order to enhance growth prospects for the
Facilitates KOL Management by ensuring
that that the marketing activities related to KOLs are planned and
Facilitates and coordinates with SBU for
participation of KOLs/ other doctors in seminars and conferences.
Field visits to help the sales team in
Participate in International meeting
and training programs and share ideas and information with colleagues and
Provide Forecasting sku wise for annual
and well as for a running 3 months.
Undertakes Sales & Marketing related training
for the Sales force.

5+ years of Experience
Knowledge of the Health
experience or good understanding of the Sales Processes, exposure and Knowledge
