Break down a complex Customer problems into workable technology solution and provide proposals with estimation and associated risks.
Evolving Firmware / Software requirements and architecture from marketing documents.
Responsible for complete architecture of the Product and High level design, alternate design analysis, documentation and reviews them with stakeholders.
Experience in developing Industrial Safety Systems
Hands on experience in Board support Development packages and Drivers
Ability see the risk in Technology application and plan and execute POC
Be critical reviewers in all forms of documentation especially Design documents, Test Plans and Customer documentation.
Comply with Development Process adherence
Leads the team to define development roadmaps, formulating strategic development
Contribute in cross functional teams that decide on recurring customer complaints and change requests
Good understanding on how a firmware impacts Product Certification.
Knowledge on Design for Security will be an added advantage
Highly innovative mindset backed by IP achievements.
Maintains relationships with outside bodies such as knowledge institutes and Automation Forums of new technology and Domain.
Coach and Train Designers in delivering the program expectations
Education: University degree/Post Graduate in Engineering in B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics/instrumentation/Electrical/computer science.
Should have at least 10 years of experience in Firmware Product development. Out of this 6 years experience in handling independent modules.
Hands on experience of development on 8/16/32 bit controllers based systems.
Hands on experience in RTOS based firmware development is a must. Should be able to setup RTOS on a MCU.
Working knowledge of interfacing internal and external peripherals like ADC, DAC, Communication interfaces, displays, EEPROMs, Compact Flash, SD cards,
Hands on experience in writing drivers and Board bring up activities.
Able to work in a multidisciplinary environment with global partners
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
High negotiating skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
Ability to engage with all business functions and draw a technology road map for Product line.
