Job Description: GFX FE Tools Team is seeking for an engineer who has zest to innovate, can bring in out-of-the-box ideas, can drive efficiency in the Tools, Process, Methodology TPM front. In this position, you will be working closely with the rest of the FE Tools team to set up, maintain, enhance, innovate next generation tools, process and methodology for GFX FE Team, assist users with tool issues they encounter, interface with tool owners to resolve bugs, provide automation and make improvements to existing flows. You will be training users on tools, process and methodology. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Conducting studies and/or research on various fields to improve the tools performance and/or accuracy - Evaluate new TPM and report out on ROI improvements compared to existing TPM - Drive acceptance and deployment of new or enhanced TPM across GFX FE team - Work with Vendors EDA Tools directly to get solutions for customer reported issues
Qualification: Bachelor's degree with less than 3 years' experience or Master's degree with 1 years' experience in EE/CS/CE or related field- Good knowledge in Linux or Unix- Good Knowledge of Scripting Languages PERL, Python, TCL, C-Shell- Knowledge of Markup Languages like XML, YAML and programming languages like C, C++, C, JAVA will be added advantage- Knowledge of OOO Object Orient Programming concepts will be added advantage- Knowledge of VLSI technology- Customer Orientation- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills Inside this Business Group
