Roles & Responsibilities: Leading a team of 12+ People soft Professionals. Work closely with business & domestic IT stakeholders manage the People soft application, assessing business needs and determining/implementing information technology solutions. Guide the PS team in design, development (coding) and implementation of modifications to purchased applications or custom programs to enhance value to business. Provides expert support of the development after implementation. Applies business and systems knowledge throughout process. Mentor the team in the technical design and coding of interfaces, data conversions, reports, and customizations providing the required functionality not supplied by the package. Collaborates with internal users, staff members, and information technology colleagues to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces while assessing value in modification to delivered software versus building new functionality. Translate requirements into technical design solutions. Gain sufficient understanding of various IT applications to translate functional designs into technical approaches Deliver technical information, support and training to internal customers to assist them in performing and improving their daily work processes.
Profile Description: Candidate needs to have PeopleSoft 9.1 Financials programming skills and a good functional understanding of financials and supply chain PeopleSoft in one or more modules (AP/EX/GL/AM/PO) Experience in application analysis, design, software development, systems implementation and package integration with demonstrated strong performance. Education: B.E (OR) M.CA Excellent problem solving skills – able to focus both on the big picture and finite details. Ability to deliver results in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required. The ability to express oneself effectively within groups and in one-to-one conversations. Conveys information clearly and effectively through both formal and informal documents. Excellent ability to organize information, manage tasks and use available tools to effectively contribute to an organization. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of software development industry concepts, tools, and techniques. Hands on experience in Project Management, tools, and techniques in a large enterprise Comfortable working with geographically diverse teams.
Required PeopleSoft Skills: Minimum of 9-11 years relavant PeopleSoft experience in FSCM. PeopleSoft 8.X, 9.X and PeopleTools 8.4X - 8.5X Worked on all phases of a project development, testing, production support, etc. 10+ year experience in PS Financial Solutions (FSCM) modules such as GL, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Billing, Asset Management, Project Costing, Purchasing, Expense. Excellent working knowledge in Code migrations (Project, SQR, Crystal, etc.,), Debug and develop SQRs, People Code, Application Engine, Application Messaging, Data Conversions, Component Interfaces, PeopleSoft security & Query Development, nVision, Crystal Reports and XML Publisher issues, ability to troubleshoot the batch job failures. Complete understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA); specifically Unix/Linux, Oracle database hosting environment; PeopleSoft Administration Manage scope and customer expectations effectively on individual assignments
