Description: Business Strategists are participants in a rotation-based, action learning program designed to grow effective leaders able to assume broad business leadership roles across Cerner. The role is currently reserved for use by the EDP program; usage outside of EDP must be approved by the Associate Development and Leadership Program Manager.
Drives strategic projects throughout Cerner.
Builds cross-functional knowledge and capability.
Develops financial business models and plans to guide business decisions.
Provides analytical support to business unit executives.
Implements process change and improvement.
Builds relationships across levels and functions that can be leveraged for increased results.
Keeps the organization’s vision and values at the forefront of associate decision making and action.
Performs other responsibilities as needed.
Works in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures. Understands personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets. Takes appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of role.
Follows Cerner policies, uphold professional standards, and perform all work in a manner respectful of others.
Takes an active part in driving their Professional Development Plan (PDP) and career development.

BE/MBA from Targeted Tier 1 Schools
5-8 years of relevant prior experience in IT, consulting, and/or healthcare or healthcare related industries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work extended hours as needed
Prolonged use of a computer
Basic computer knowledge, including experience using Microsoft Solutions
Attention to detail
Ability to travel, based on requirements of rotational assignments
